Can a moon orbit a planet's southern pole? I am interested in the idea of a moon orbiting only the southern pole of a planet. Could it theoretically be possible (though unlikely) that a moon would, for instance, orbit a planet parallel to the equator, but at a latitude halfway or closer to the southern pole? (more) |
