What major event could disrupt planet Earth's orbit around the Sun?

What artificial disaster could disrupt the orbit of our planet? Not necessarily making it leave the Solar System, but maybe changing its trajectory around the sun. And by artificial, I mean that the cause can't be an asteroid or an object from outer space. Any ideas? I thought about a single, concentrated powerful atomic bomb explosion "pushing" the planet and disrupting its orbit, but I found that a little bit clichÃ©.
